torqued paolo @ 09:23 AM (tôrk) n. 1. The moment of a force; the measure of a force's tendency to produce torsion and rotation about an axis, equal to the vector product of the radius vector from the axis of rotation to the point of application of the force and the force vector. 2. A turning or twisting force. what the hell does that mean? i dunno, but it sure sounds good dont it? haha. actually im feeling kinda attached to cars these days. last week, i saw this car parked near la salle and i immediately began to drool over it. i know the BMW Z4 is kinda old, but i really go crazy over convertibles. they kinda look sexy dont they? how i wish i could drive one right now. i like how the way this layout turned out. i just did this for about an hour or so. i wanted to make something that could show my unquenched desire to drive. not that i couldnt its just that i dont have anything to drive at the moment and the frustration is building up i dont know what id do. but if i think about it, its actually kinda expensive to drive to school... all the way from laguna that is. i mean the gas would be reasonable, but the toll fees are tremendously expensive and to think that id have to pay twice for the trip back home. even my allowance wont be enough to cover all of that. coz that means i would have to cut back on food and i wont be able to play DotA (defense of the ancients) anymore. the mere thought of that scares me. haha. so i guess it would be quite a while before anyone sees me on the road. id have to move in to manila first before considering to bring my own car to school. maybe next term? haha. i hope so. enjoy the new layout! usher - confessions

ode to the holidays paolo @ 09:06 AM ahh... smell that wonderful piney odor filling up the air? well, i do. i keep wondering why the hell our house smells all-different when christmas comes every year. theres something about the dust that clogs up on the christmas ornaments that kinda makes 'em smell christmas-ey. hehehe. but if it adds up to the christmas ambience then what the heck, more christmas dust please! anyhow, as you can probably guess, another dreadful term has passed and my grades arent screaming "happy holidays" either. comorga recently became the third subject to be included in my d-list. i remember mr ilao giving me that sad puppy dog eyed look as he handed down my course card with two circular figures etched on the lower part conveying a failing grade of 0.0. although i only garnered about 54% out of the minimum passing grade of 70%, so i couldnt argue with him, instead, i smilingly accepted and went outside the room. it was then that i snapped and screamed the hell outta myself. haha just kidding. [sigh], nothing like a good kick to set you off onto the holidays huh? after the course card distribution, i went to jocelyn's party. it was an all-out eat-your-heart-out party. my friend actually gained a pound or two after eating there. i myself couldnt eat another bite cause of the amount of meatballs and pasta all crammed into my stomach. i was so full i couldnt stand up. however, the food fest did not end there. after finishing at jocs, chris took us to yet another gourmet excursion. and even if my belly was so stocked up, i just couldnt resist the thought of free food. hehehe. it was still kinda early for dinner when we arrived at greenbelt. so we went to the redbox and sang a few scores or so before heading to dinner. again, it was for free (chris' treat). im beginning to wonder how the hell does he get all his money? i think his among the chinese mafia or sumthin. hahaha. seriously, this guy's totally rich. nahihiya na nga ko pag nanlilibre yun. people might think were taking him for granted. haha shempre hinde... bespren ko yun! moving on, after the sing-along, it was about 7 pm, we decided to grab some grub at bubba gump's. i admit that the food from jocs were starting to dissolve from my stomach so i guess i was in for some serious munching. and indeed i was, we ordered a bucket of seafood and fries, and two samplers of nachos, chicken and prawns. the food there was so delicious that i felt like watchin forrest gump all over again. hehehe. 8 pm when we finished at bubba's. we closed the food fest with three voluptuous crepes at cafe bretton. de ja vu, normandie, and la pinay. i recommend the de ja vu mango crepe. eating it sets you to a de ja vu with heaven. hehehe. after that i went straight home cause it was getting kinda late. but i really had fun. and boy was i stuffed. thanks to chris that is. hehe... my holidays aint so bad after all. Merry Christmas! akafellas - sound illusion |
